The Late Night Service is a free service available to students, faculty, and staff. The service provides safe and timely campus and local transportation. The late night buses will be running loops servicing all campus core shuttle stops, and rides can be requested on-demand to/from the campus core.
To request a ride, call (860)486-1448. When speaking with the Dispatcher you must provide your name, a pick up/drop off location, the number of people being picked-up, and your cell phone number. A valid UConn student I.D. from each passenger must be shown to the driver in order to board the bus.

- Friday: 10:00pm – 1:00am (Campus shuttle buses run until 10:00pm)
- Saturday: 7:00pm – 1:00am (Weekend shuttle available 11:00am-7:00pm)
How We Operate
Late night is a service provided by UConn Transportation, and our mission is to provide faculty, staff and students with a safe ride when they do not feel comfortable walking to their destination after normal shuttle buses shut down.
No groups larger than 4 students may be picked up from the same location and transported to any off campus location.
Our drivers may not knowingly drop off/pick-up any passengers from an off campus party, regardless of the number of people requesting the ride.

Drivers are required to be polite to passengers and we expect the same courtesy from you. If you ever have any complaints about a driver’s behavior, please call the Assistant Manager. Conversely, any passenger who does not display proper conduct may lose his/her ride privileges (after a verbal warning).
Our drivers are required to remain in the vehicle at all times and are not able to assist in loading personal items onto the vehicle so please plan accordingly.
