With winter soon upon us, it is time to prepare for winter weather and the travel disruptions that come with it. In the event of winter weather, WRTD will operate as long as we can safely do so.
In the event that it becomes unsafe to continue operation, we will announce and suspension of service on our Facebook @WRTDCT, on our website www.wrtd.org, on WFSB Channel 3 and on WILI radio.
Holiday Service Alerts
Another year is nearly complete and the holidays are nearly upon us. We wish everyone a happy holiday season and thank you for a great 2019. In celebration of the holidays, WRTD will have the following limited schedules:
December 25th, Christmas Day
- No Service on Dial-A-Ride, ADA Paratransit and Routes 671, 672, 674 or 993.
- Route 991 will operate a regular schedule.
January 1st, New Year’s Day
- No Service on Dial-A-Ride, ADA Paratransit and Routes 671, 672, 674 or 993.
- Route 991 will operate a regular schedule.
674 Storrs/Willimantic & 675 Hunting Lodge Break Schedules
Friday, December 13th will be the final day of service for Route 675 Hunting Lodge Road. It will also be the final day for the late night trip of Route 674 Storrs/Willimantic.
The full schedule for both 674 and 675 will resume on January 20, 2020.
